In July of 2003, the City of Orange Beach welcomed the PIAA and we moved
into the historic Orange Beach Hotel thus our new location is known
as the Orange Beach Art Center, Home of the PIAA. This beautiful old
mansion provides excellent gallery space, gift shop, classrooms, and
workshop space. Set on the shores of Wolf Bay, the grounds serve as
a breath-taking backdrop for their art shows.

Through fund raising events such as workshop classes, festivals, and
gallery sales, The Pleasure Island Art Association awards scholarships
to local high school seniors to help with their continued studies of
art each year. Their community involvent extends to support of the local
Relay for Life, Art for Heart, and many other charity events and community
happenings.

A workshop for local teens sponsored and conducted by the Pleasure Island
Art Association
The Pleasure Island Art Fair on the Alabama Orange Coast. The Center
hosts a wide variety of events including an ongoing schedule of juried
exhibitions throughout the year.

Memberships in the association are not limited to artists,
our current roster is 187. An extremely unique aspect of the Pleasure

Burnie Coastal Art Group in Tasmania as a sister organization..
