OPEN WATER 2003, the 78th annual juried exhibition is a water based media exhibition. It takes place at the John B. Aird Gallery , 900 Bay St., Toronto from Sept 30 – Oct 25. Deadline for submission of slides is August 15th. Entry information and application form: Click Here

Work from Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour


In July of 2003, PAINTED SOUNDS, a juried exhibition of work by members will be held at the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts in Parry Sound, Ontario. The exhibition coincides with the annual prestigious Festival of the Sound, an internationally renowned Chamber Music Festival founded by Anton Kuerti 24 years ago.
In an additional collaboration with the Festival, the opening reception on Jul 19th will be followed by the world premiere of a piece of music commissioned by the Festival from composer, Abby Richardson. The music is written in response to a painting by CSPWC Member, Wendy Hoffmann.
