Mystic Arts Center
There are many reasons to visit beautiful Mystic, Connecticut; for example, Mystic Seaport, a re-creation of a Nineteenth Century New England port, the Mystic Aquarium, wonderful shops and restaurants and not least, the Mystic Arts Center, just a very short walk from Mystic Pizza, made famous from the movie of the same name. Founded in 1913, the Mystic Arts Center is located in downtown Mystic on the banks of the Mystic River. The gallery building was built specifically for the Arts Association with rooms for workshops and multiple rooms for gallerys and exhibitions curated by variety of art and craft style and form. The association moved into the gallery in July 1931.
